What else you need for the install

A universal unit becomes a factory-look install with the right supporting parts. For the Honda Pilot that means:

Yes — a vehicle-specific dash kit is the one part you shouldn't skip. It adapts the Pilot dash opening to the standard double DIN chassis and usually costs $15–$50.

Will I keep my steering wheel controls in the Pilot?

In most cases yes, with a steering wheel control interface module wired between the car and the new unit. Budget roughly $30–$60 for it.

What screen sizes are available for the Honda Pilot?

Units listed for the Honda Pilot come with 7", 9", 10.1", 13.1" displays. Larger screens on custom-fit units are shaped to the dash, so a bigger display doesn't necessarily mean cutting or trimming.
